A fourth-year undergraduate student at IIT Kharagpur, Aniket Agarwal joined the product team at Infinyte to build and streamline product operations. Quirky, smart, and all things enthusiastic, he claims that living through a near-death experience is one fun fact about him!
Never one to shy away from solving a problem, Aniket’s work involves creating standard operating procedures and setting up processes that will make life easier for all our different types of users.
What got you interested in Infinyte?
A simple reason really: Infinyte Club is solving a problem that impacts an entirely overlooked community.
The funny thing is, this is the community at the forefront of progress. The builders and the creators of our future deserve a better shot at wealth creation, and it needs a delicate coming together of product and regulations.
It’s a mission that is incredibly difficult but will also be incredibly rewarding when it all comes together.
Infinyte wants to unlock incredible, exclusive wealth creation opportunities for builders of the modern, tech age; what does this mission mean to you?
It hits home. 😊
As someone with dreams of creating a future that matches my vision, the mere fact that there’s a company looking out for you can make you breathe easy.
Being able to contribute to this mission is a blessing, and every time we talk about empowering individuals like ourselves, I feel super motivated to push harder.
What’s been your favorite moment at work so far?
Can’t pinpoint one but I’d say I truly cherish some of the Demo Day experiences I have had.
At Infinyte, we own our efforts and gun for outcomes in order to not mistake motion for progress. With this philosophy in mind - every Thursday, we each take turns showcasing what has been shipped and also walk everyone through what is in the pipeline during a couple of hours, internally called ‘Demo Day’. This system is highly effective in making sure we hold ourselves accountable, take responsibility for our work and actions and also helps us develop our skills around selling, presentations and storytelling.
I must admit that it was unnerving initially to present my work in front of the whole team, and folks who comes with such rich experience. But as it went along, I saw it as a place of support and collaboration, and boy, did it help!
This experience has significantly impacted my personal and professional growth, reminding me of the importance of open communication, collaboration, and celebrating individual and team accomplishments.
What have you learnt during your time so far?
Working with a high-functioning team has helped me gain a sense of accountability and the power of keeping track of progress.
At Infinyte, we keep saying that we must not mistake motion for progress and that’s something that I have learned every time I have worked on a task, be it creating a support flow for customers or a process doc for how information is taken.
If you take up something, you need to take it to the finish line. The process is important, but shipping is what truly matters.
But what I cherish most about my time here has been the guidance and mentorship I have received from everyone. Their passion for building things for the broader ecosystem has inspired me to think big and keep pushing higher.
What more are you looking forward to learning, doing and executing at Infinyte?
Deepen my product knowledge and contribute more to the smooth handling of operations. I'm excited to explore new ways to optimize processes, make them seamless and more user-friendly.
Talk about the one Infinyte value you resonate with the most
“Shippers ship, quitters quit!”
That’s the only thing that matters no matter what you do in life: you do it, or you don’t. There’s no in-betweens when it comes to achieving the things that we want to, and if you can’t put your passion on top of your priorities, you probably don’t deserve to succeed.
Throughout my internship, I have witnessed the effort and attention to detail that goes into every little thing we ship, and it’s truly inspiring.
