Sharanya Jha is your friendly neighbourhood sport who writes, thinks on her feet and always has a meme (or two) up her sleeves that could crack you up at any time of the day. She likes social media so much that she thinks she can make a living out of scrolling reels (which we undoubtedly feel, she can!).
A part of the content team at Infinyte, she is on top of our minds and feeds everyday because we wake up to her daily dose of fin-thusiasm in the form of news from the world of finance and business.
What got you interested in Infinyte?
To start off, EVERYTHING!
Writing is cool, creating content is cool but what is cooler is when you combine your artsy writing skills to make content for an otherwise aspirational domain which you barely understand.
I have always been in awe and intimidated by all things finance and it hooked me to play around with terms and strategies around making finance interesting. And to be able to learn from industry experts and thought leaders was all I could wish for.
Infinyte wants to unlock incredible, exclusive wealth creation opportunities for builders of the modern, tech-age; what made you take up this challenge?
I think what appealed most to me was how Infinyte is trying to use tech and product to change how employee wealth creation is looked at today. To have that change from being an after- thought to an industry norm is something I’d love to witness, and it’s incredibly exciting to be able to play a part in that.
It is challenging and not easy at all but that is what forms the ethos of Infinyte; if it were easy, everyone would have done it.
What’s been your favorite moment at work?
My favorite moment from work has been my presentation during one fine Demo Day afternoon where I got to present my progress, lay a roadmap and also discuss the nitty gritty of the stuff we had been working on till then. Everyone lauded my efforts and also gave some constructive feedback. There was communication, collaboration, and coordination which brought in a sense of belonging, seamlessness and pride in the work that was shipped till then.
At Infinyte, we own our efforts and gun for outcomes in order to not mistake motion for progress. With this philosophy in mind - every Thursday, we each take turns showcasing what has been shipped and also walk everyone through what is in the pipeline during a couple of hours, internally called ‘Demo Day’. This system is highly effective in making sure we hold ourselves accountable, take responsibility for our work and actions and also helps us develop our skills around selling, presentations and storytelling.
What have you learnt during your time so far?

I have learnt about why and where we are regarding wealth creation opportunities and how there remains a gap between what we deserve and what we receive. In addition to understanding the business, I have also learnt a lot about social media, how an online presence makes a significant impact on the company’s image and how important it is to be consistent with the activities on social media.
I have written blogs, curated glossaries and worked on any and everything that channelized my inner creative aficionado. It has been a journey replete with a very unique trajectory that I’d always be proud of.
What more are you looking forward to learning, doing and executing at Infinyte?
I am looking forward to making more content and not being ‘content’ with it because as a creative person, less is never more!
I am also in for meeting different people, and learning so much from everyone. I wish to write for our founders, and hope to see those writings go up on different platforms, only to gain traction and who knows, we could be viral all over?

As a Potterhead (one who thinks Harry Potter books are a blessing for humanity), I am glued to the concept of magic and I think money and magic sure have a connection because both end up making people happy.
